Smile Painting is a professional painting company that provides an exceptional customer experience for our clients and our employees. We operate in the Kitchener-Waterloo-Cambridge-Guelph region. We are part of the new breed of contractors and are excited to be growing a team of painting, marketing and sales professionals who want to be a part of something new.

We take care of our People

  • Pay ranges from $18 to 30 per hour depending on experience
  • All Stat Days are Paid (It’s important that you can spend time with family and re-charge the batteries)

  • Flexibility. We definitely ask you to work hard (we work hard too!) but we understand that people might have a trip to Central America they’ve been planning or will be going back home to visit family. Let us know and we’ll plan around it.

We really want to create a great workplace where we can have fun and grow, but we also require some things from you that take character and commitment:

  • Take pride in what you do. Make sure work is done well. If it’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right. When you do a good job and a client expresses their admiration for the hard work you put in, it’ll make you feel great.
  • Pay attention and stay organized. We don’t want you to have work harder than you need to. Keeping a clean and organized job site means you’ll have less headaches.
  • Make sure you are able to get to work on time; showing is an important trait one should have no matter what you do. It shows respect for the clients and your fellow team members and it also shows that you respect yourself and are able to follow through on your commitments.
  • Genuinely care about clients, your fellow workers and the company. We are looking for team members who want to be apart of our vision but you need to show up and care about the people around you. Without this, none of this happens.
  • Be ok working with a team, but also be okay working independently. Most of the team working on a team makes a job go a lot quicker but it sometimes it’s just easier to have one person do a specific job that might be smaller in scope.

  • Make sure this is an email you check often as this is how we'll contact you for the follow up interview. Careful, if it's not correct, we won't be able to contact you.
  • A smart phone is required to work with us. You must be comfortable using your phone for calling, texting, email and different apps that our company uses.
  • It is a requirement that you are able to transport yourself to and from jobsites anywhere within the city limits and just outside of them. How will you be getting there?
  • Meaning proper hygiene, clean, wears appropriate work attire, and takes pride in appearance.
  • Considerate smokers discard butts or ashes appropriately and smoke off the client's property or in the designated smoking area on commercial sites.
  • Arriving on time shows respect for your co-workers, your job and the customer.
  • Are you okay with the physicality of working full days in the hot sun? Work can be outside and inside; job locations change frequently.
  • Do you have the strength and coordination to move and position (by yourself) a 24' aluminum extension ladder?
  • Which competitive sports have you played? Intramural and pick up games are OK; casual play not included.
